Millions tuned in to witness the biopic of iconic singer Bobby Brown. As a child star with the super group "New Edition" he made a name for himself in the world of music as a solo artist. The film was non-stop drama from the beginning, and did not fail to captivate audiences. The R&B bad boy lived up to the hype with the hits through out his career and it was his prerogative. They showed love affairs and constant drug abuse and who better to tell the story than the man who lived it. Although drug abuse should not be promoted it was his story and a look inside everyday life for the singer and his wife at the time.
Lead Actor Woody McClain did an amazing job portraying the singer with his dance moves and dramatic antics. He also played Bobby in the New Edition biopic so he had a lot of time studying the singer.
The success of this film keeps the momentum going for Bobby Brown and New Edition. People can appreciate the real and being vulnerable. Lets stay on the look out for the next NE album and concert.
